For almost 20 years, we have successfully represented lenders in debt collection actions throughout the New York and New Jersey area. Our attorneys have in-depth knowledge of the laws and proper procedures for asset recovery, as well as knowledge of the most effective and cost-efficient recovery strategies. Our lawyers work directly on each case, putting their extensive experience to work to give clients the personalized representation they deserve. We stay in frequent contact with our clients and provide ongoing updates, so they are always kept informed on the progress of our recovery actions.
Our debt-collection philosophy is simple. We don’t believe in letters, they rarely work. Only an actual lawsuit wakes a debtor. While we will always comply with our clients’ request to first send a demand-letter, a lawsuit is usually inevitable and follpws the letter within two weeks.
Many of our lender clients have both secured and unsecured debt to recover. Our specialty is pursuing unsecured debt and winning large verdicts for our clients. Many such awards include attorneys fees and costs (especially if provided in the Terms of the loan agreement), interest and sometimes special fees (particularly in the case of fraud). We will examine your loan documents and analyze your case to determine if it qualifies for extra damages. On top of being known as a particularly aggressive litigator and debt collector, we are often referred cases which many others consider difficult-to-collect and have a reputation among our clients for being resourceful and relentless at collecting debts. In fact, while many other firms “sleep” on a $3,000 debt-collection – we do not. We have encountered many debtors who have thought of clever ways to hide their money, however, they have no idea that we are considerably more clever than them; if there is a legitimate way to do so, we will get you your money!
